What I witnessed that day, helplessly watching events unfold on my TV screen here in
England will never be forgotten. I will spend today quietly, and remember those awful
things I saw. My thoughts and prayers go to those who died, and their friends and
families who still mourn them.

I remember that day, I was at school and a friend said we were having a war. I thought it was an invasion on the mainland. Being so young I was terrified. My mom came and got me and my best friend from school and took us home. That was probably the longest consecutive time I had watched the news other than 8/23/05.
