Any recommendation? safety is a main concern also.

thanks

I lived in in Tallow Wood for a couple of years. I left about a year ago. I think I was paying close to 900 for a two bedroom/one bath apartment. Water isn't included, so that's about another $50 on top of that. I felt safe at the apartment complex. It was pretty quiet. I hardly heard a peep out of my neighbors. The only complaint I had about noise was during the summer, but that was because my balcony overlooked the pool and some people like to drink and hang out until the wee hours. My rent went up every time I renewed my lease. The traffic is pretty bad in that area, taking a left out of the complex in heavy traffic can be tricky. Wal-Mart is across the street, which is very convenient. Maintenance was on top of things when I first moved in, but as time went on I had to call several times to remind them. The manager, Carla, can be rude. The assistant in the front office, Sandy, frequently lost/misplaced paperwork. The schools that your kids would go to are Apollo Elementary, Greenacres Middle, and Airline High. They're all good schools.

Just a suggestion...you might want to look at Northpointe Apartments. It's at the corner of Benton and Viking. It's kind of shabby looking, but the rent is not as high. A co-worker of mine lived there and had nothing but good things to say about it.
