Hello all!

I've been reading for some time now and researching, but wondered if any of you knew specific names of apartment complexes only in North Bossier? Especially the newer ones that are not listed in apt books yet?

I'm looking for an efficiency or 1 bedroom, but certain it has to be in North Bossier.

And, how long do you think the commute would be to downtown Shreveport from North Bossier?

I've got some names of places, but was curious to see if any of you would list them, in order of safety/favorites?

Thanks so much for these boards...they help so very much!

Best!

Commute time from north Bossier to downtown Shreveport isn't very bad, but will depend heavily on the time of day. If you travel at off-peak times it will be about 15 minutes or so, but if you travel at rush hour in the morning and evening, you can be looking at 30 minutes. It also depends on how far north you're talking.

I do know there are new apartments planned for north Bossier, but at the moment I believe everything that is listed is what is existing. I haven't been out that way in a few weeks, but last time I was out there, there were no new apartments under construction.

Anything in north Bossier is going to be safe and decent in every way... as long as you're looking from Melrose north.

North Bossier should be 71111. And for south Bossier, 71112.

By the way, where are you moving from?

You guys really should loosen up on that. Don't take this as criticism of you mods, I know it's not an easy job... I'm just saying, there might be others who see this thread and take the advice. If it's an all-out real estate advertisement, yes... but this type of thread is just informative all-around.

SBC et al -

That's why the DM function exists - but how do we know when someone posts that Apartments X is the company to deal with and they own Pie in the Sky Apartments that they aren't advertising? You would be very, very surprised at how many companies/individuals try to get a foot in the door with what appears to be an innocent post. We have no way of knowing who some posters are or their motivation for posting where to find a place, nor do we know the poster's real intent. Ya'll will have to bear with this one or we'd get overrun in property management companies and individual classifieds...and that could be the least of what is out there. To point someone in the direction of good apartment complexes is one thing - we just can't have the specific names on here or it turns into another classifieds bulletin board and, by default, a consumer complaint board. The very general info in the thread is great, it's the specifics that could cause problems.

Don't shoot the messenger!

Sorry to stir up anything, guys. I didn't realize you couldn't list the names of the apartments.

Thanks for your info though.

Best!
