There has to be something Lacking when Cities began to fall. It appears after all the generations and decades it took to build Shreveport. It met with DOMINANT Stagnation in the past two generations of people.
There is a deficit when it comes to intellectual dialog about subjects, there is apathy when it comes to the political concerns, and we have a basically segregated design of economic centers.

We see communities continue to decline. The beautiful multiple churches which all once had robust 'community centers" are non functional and some sit empty.
Some have high investment and yet remain empty the entire week. It leaves one to wonder, what's the point?

We watched our roadways deterioate over years, as well as we allow downtown to sit there with multiple "empty building", and people sit on the title to these facilities and do nothing, and still there is no inventive nature of penalty placed on them for "economic blockage", while some allow the building to become eye sores, or just sit and deterioate. We don't have the grasp to know how to push forward.

Some cities have began to take actions, they have programs which mandate and penalize those who block economic growth and development, by trying to sit on these properites yet, do nothing to promote it, repair it or put it to marketable usages to improve the economic function within the downtown areas.

Maybe we need, to look about and grasp some thing others locations are engaging. Shreveport has people who have high interest to do something and build something, but we have no pro-active high focus push to make it more wide spread in attracing people to come together and find new ways to create and develop our city and region.
