This was in January 1981. His name was Leon Holloway and he was a milkman. Does anyone remember this or know anything about the situation leading up to his death. thank you

I was Leon Holloway's soulmate. I dated him for 5 years and I loved him so much. He was at Mr. Crow's lounge the night he was shot and killed. He got into an argument with an older man that night. the man went home and brought his son back with a shotgun and I was told they got him to go outside to fight and the younger son shot him at close range with a shot gun and killed him. I don't know how he got away with it but I have never gotten over the loss of Leon. I loved him so much. I still miss him.

This is a story I was told about what happened. I was not there at the time of his death. I wish he had never went to that bar that night and maybe we could have had a good life together.

I remarried and had a good husband for 32 years. He passed away 4 years ago with COPD.

I still think about Leon. Gone but not forgotten !!!

Default I was actually on the scene that night.

We were at a conv store nearby and someone ran in wanting to use the phone and said someone was shot. I went down and he was lying in the parking lot. I heard the same store about him being lured outside. I was right across the street from the Fire Sta and a fireman friend of mine came over to help.

Very sad. Shreveport is littered with tales of woe like these. Don't go there.

Leon was our milkman when I was a child. He was very kind, and often had coffee with my mother. What a tragedy. I remember this story like it was yesterday. r.i.p.
