Are there any restaurants in the Shreveport Bossier area that serve beef ribs? When I moved back down here from North Carolina I was so excited to finally be able to eat BEEF ribs again instead of pork. However, I can't find any restaurant that serve them.

Be happy that you can have ANY decent BBQ. I moved to Maryland, and all they've got here are crabs.

I went to a very good, small BBQ restaurant off of Pines Road, a block or two south of the interstate, in Shreveport. Can't remember the name and I didn't have the ribs but it was really good... I'd check there.

Well is Country Tavern still open? I haven't been in a while but it seems like it featured beef ribs. It is located in the Automall. Pricey as I recall.
