Does anyone have any info about Elm Grove? My husband works there and we were thinking about moving (from Texas) there but was wondering about the convenience of living there. For example, I timed the drive to the school my son would be going to from the house we are thinking about buying and it was about 15-20 minutes, but it is just so beautiful and peaceful. I am trying to weigh pros and cons and was hoping if there is anybody out there who lives there could tell me their experience.

Hi Pollywog
I live in the very southern edge of Bossier City and while I don't live in Elm Grove, I don't know of any posters down that far south. Yes it is peaceful down there and I don't ever hear of anything bad. Driving into Bossier from down there can be tough during rush hour; although it doesn't rate a Dallas rush hour, it is still pretty bad as the traffic mostly tends to bottleneck onto Jimmie Davis Hwy and bridge. Elm Grove itself has light traffic, however, proceeding northward you pick up Hwy 527 traffic and Sligo Road traffic which is now the first light.

Well what can I say? If you don't mind a little traffic, the schools are great in the district and the crime rate is very low (Thank God).
