Sioux Falls Mosquitoes - How Bad? (homes, landscaping, camping)

The mosquitoes are not that bad. At least in Sioux Falls, the city sprays 3-4 times in the summer when the mosquitoes are out and active. They're probably worse in wooded areas (and in my landscaping around the house).
I do not find the humidity that bad here, but it's definitely not like ID. I have lived down in NE TX and also near the coast in SC; the humidity here is nothing at all like those areas. But if you are not used to it, it does get sticky at times during the summer.
Compared to most areas in ID, you will also find the cost of a home quite a bit cheaper here. But like everywhere else, prices are rising and there is limited availability of homes.
