Best wishes in your decision to move to Sioux Falls!!! It's such an awesome place. Moderator cut: link to other forum I know a lot of people who shop for baby stuff at Kids Stuff and Once Upon a Child. The mall is where you will find a ton of stuff, but the nice thing is that Sioux Falls is only 4 hours away from Minneapolis where you can shop all day tax free on clothes.

Reason: sorry no linking to another forum. You could share it in a dm tho.
41st & Meadows on River commercial district consists of but not limited to Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Empire East (Target, Kohls & Bed Bath & Beyond), Hy-Vee Grocery, Barnes & Noble, Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, Shoe Carnival, Petsmart, Petco, Western Mall (Best Buy & Scheels Sports), Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Chili's, Applebee's, Outback Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesday, Century Theater, Carmike Theater, Staples, Office Max, Post Office, Empire Mall (JCP, Younkers, Sears, Macy's, Old Navy & much more), Radio Shack, Sonic, many fast food restaurants (McDonalds, Burger King, Arbys, KFC, Taco Johns, Taco Bell, Wendy's, etc...). You can find just about anything that you need along the 41st corridor or in the vicinity of but there's a lot of traffic and can be nerve wracking at times. E. 10th/Arrowhead Pkwy is showing promise of duplicating 41st to an extent to relieve some of the pressure.
Haha. Wrong Title for this, but yeah. The eastside is rapidly growing with houses, a good load of churches, the new Target and Target Grocery, along with a Kohl's that they will be building and a new Movie theater and some restaurants that they also plan on building. I really hope Red Robin goes over there but that is off subject

None of those here. Rumor has it Costco is moving in.
Costco coming to Sioux Falls
I've heard from reliable sources (DM me if you want info ) that Costco has officially committed to building a store on the east side of Sioux Falls. The store will be open within 1 1/2 years.
I'm not sure on the specific location, but I'm guessing the Dawley Farm Village shopping district.
Sioux falls is NOT awesome. It is a bland and nondescript city that has the gaul to call the sewer running through town a river. The townsfloks favorite activity is to shop at chain stores, lame.On a positive note, it is relitvely safe for a city nearing 200 000.

I agree with the Red Robin. A second JC Penney's would be nice also along with a Finish Line/Foot Locker/Sports Authority type of place. I am surprise with as many big box stores that Mc Donald's has not built there, which the area would be a gold mine for the local Mc Donald's franicher.

Thank you for your comment about Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls has some spunk to it and is getting better with time. The people by and large are friendly and the city is clean overall, more so than other cities its size in other parts of the country.
Compared to the coast, cost of living is low in Sioux Falls and one can do well there if they worked hard and managed money well.

I can only guess that you live in a city that is often rated at the top of lists for quality of living and employment opportunities and cost of living, etc. OR all those people doing the surveys and research are just wrong along with the many people who have recently relocated to Sx. Falls.
