OK. My predictions and expectations were definitely off for the match between Brasil vs Netherlands.

I'm understandibly shy about making any predictions for this match. Both Uruguay and Ghana have won the right to be present at the quarter finals.

Can only hope and look forward to a great match between these two teams.

After 55 mins it is tied 1:1, Ghana is playing well, but not making use of its opportunities. Uruguay is more efficient.

Possibly the most incredible finish I've ever seen in any sport, ever. Even more amazing than the finish less than 24 hours ago in the Montreal-Saskatchewan season opener last night in the Canadian Football League.

That is one of the most brutal loses I've ever seen in sports. I said to myself last week when the US lost to Ghana its better to lose now, because if we go further and lose it will just hurt more.....

So they lost, but I'm still extremely proud of the "Dream Team". They fought like real men to the very end.

Go Ghana! (well, maybe not this time but..)

Wow...incredible game...my heart is breaking for Ghana right now. I love the fact that they care so much (Gyan was absolutely inconsolable at the end, you can tell this meant everything to him, that the hopes of Africa rode on his and the team's back); unlike Brazil today, they fought every second of the game, never giving up. This is everything soccer should be: passionate, aggressive, exciting, and surprising! Ghana may have lost the game but they won my respect!
