While my heart is entirely with Uruguay, my mind tells me otherwise.

What's your take?

while I do love Diego Forlan and think he is a class player, I think that the Netherlands/ Robben will most likely win. But, as they say, it only takes one second to change everything and strange things have been happening in these cup games. I believe that Germany has the best potential at this point to take the whole thing. At the very least, I thing they will beat Spain.

Hmmm... I have a tough time supporting either team, although I suppose I'm leaning towards loyalty to my hemisphere, so Uruguay it is.

I was all ready to support the Dutch, until Robben whined, cry-babied, and flopped himself into my mental doghouse. Because he was hyped so much, I expected a much better technical performance, rather than a dramatical one. Truly, I don't know why the Dutch are nicknamed the 'mechanical orange'; the guy was reaching Italian levels of bathos. Maybe he and Christian Ronaldo could start a theatre company someday if this soccer thing doesn't work out.

As for Uruguay, they seem weak, and will probably lose to Holland. Plus, I'm still a bit sore for them beating Ghana, although I agree that Uruguay deserved to win.

Not sure who I would want to win between these 2 not sure I care but I want the Germans out so I would think the best shot at this if Spain fail would be the Netherlands.

It'll be a dream come true to see Uruguay again in the finals after 60 years, but it'll be sooo difficult to us

But after the last match against Ghana, in one second everything can happen, so GO URUGUAY!!
