The Dutch 2nd goal should not have stood.

One wonders if the ref had received instructions from FIFA.

Neither of those are red card offenses.

The 2nd goal was too close to call, it could have gone either way. The player that was 1 foot offside never touched the ball so it is the officials discretion on whether or not to call offside.

Uruguay made the big offense of the tournament and should not have been there in the first place. Holland were the better team and deserves to go through.

I picked Holland to beat Brazil and move through to the final. I dont think this is that big of a surprise to see Holland where they are. They are the most complete team in the tournament.

As did I. I was referring to the media more so, not necessarily real fans. I just thought they were drooling over a Brazil/Argentina final waay to much and weren't paying attention to the teams that were playing great soccer as well as setting WC records (Netherlands and Germany)
