OUCH! I actually shuddered watching that vid.
Poorly executed tackle. Dont know the players involved but didnt look overly aggresive.

It was just sloppy to me. Two early in the game for it to be built up agression or anything like that IMO.

That's some serious punishment! Good on the MLS!!

MLS suspends Mullan an additional nine games | Major League Soccer

And it wasn't a really aggressive tackle, he was just peeved about not getting a decision so went to try and win it back. And failed.

it is a pretty steep punishment, that will set a precedent now, i have seen worse tackles get a match or 2 ban, but 10!

That's the problem, it was a retaliation tackle and he wasnt trying to legitimately win the ball.

I think that suspension is a little steep, it should be cut in half. Hopefully, they appeal it.

Apparently, Mullan hasnt been practicing because he is pretty broken up about the whole thing anyway so maybe he needs to sit for awhile.

Do you know which game Mullan will be returning for? That's right - Seattle.

There have already been Seattle fans talking about killing him or jumping onto the field and beating him with bats and stuff. It should be interesting.

That will be interesting but people wont go on the pitch and get him.

If they are, they might need this guy .

Mullan isnt going to appeal the suspension.

I know they wont but people on BigSoccer were basically saying there were going to kill him.
