I love laughing at them when they lose.
Luckily we do not lose that many! And they should, not be supporting Chelsea or Man united if they live in reading!

Very true.

Thats whats get's me. These people are from nowhere near manchester or chelsea. But they all come out the woodwork in they're replica shirts when the game is on lol.
Anyways not gonna go into that.

As for derby's i think the north london derby has a bit more spice to it now with spurs in and around the champions league spots. The games between the two mean a bit more than just bragging rights now i think

Not sure how it is in England but in the World Cup, USA vs England is probably the most important (and watched) soccer game in America. At least that is what I have noticed here. It isn't as big as other major rivalries but for American standards in Soccer it is.

The Old Firm matches are the biggest rivalry in the world. There are other notable rivalries, but those guys take it one step further, including many murders after the matches. Sad.

and it isn't always the 'big' teams with the most heated rivalries teams like derby and nottingham, sheffield united and sheffield wedensday, blackburn and burnley, wrexham and chester, these are fierce local derbies than can be just as intense as the big european rivalries

YouTube - lancashirelads's Channel

and spurs and chelsea thats one not many people hear about, but that is also getting bigger

It's funny because most germans i know consider the dutch their main rival. The english seems to rival Germany because of the war. So it is understandable that germans don't want to rival the english lol.
