Yes; CL is above EL but this Super Cup is always important, it determines the supreme champion of European football for the season.

Put it this way, if Porto won they sure as hell wouldn't be 'the supreme champion of European football' everyone knows that's the Champions League winners. No one really remembers these games, teams are preparing for the long season ahead. It is treated as a friendly really, a bit more important but not by much. Obviously it would be nice to win it but I don't think teams will be to upset if they didn't.

Yes i know, the world doesn't pay attention to the Super Cup, but Barcelona's mission is to DOMINATE every match and that's what they do. Even if the match holds no value (exhibition, friendly matches etc.).

Yeah they do, there 2nd goal by Fabregas was perfection personified and the pass by Messi, lovely stuff!
