Yeah Mata is a brilliant player, I think the best Spanish players are Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc.

Well, I've seen Germany play yesterday against Holland and they were véry impressive. Admittedly, the Dutch side didn't have Van Der Vaart, Robben and Van Persie. But still, the way the German players move and pass: it's a delight to watch.

Also kudos to Ireland, Croatia, Czech Republic and Portugal to qualify. They're nice teams to have in the tournament.

Its funny how the Germans always create strong national team made with average quality players. I mean, their star player yesterday (like so many times before) was Klose. You gotta admit if he plays in England...he will not score more goals than, say, Andrew Johnson from Fulham. Still, when playing for the German National team he is always on top. Same with Podolski. Bayern bought him, he did nothing for them, they sold him back to FC Cologne again. When he plays for Germany he almost always scores. On a club level he is so very average. Its unbelievable. And it looks like they have a great diversity in their team today: Miroslav Klose, Lukasz Podolski, Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Jerome Boateng, Dennis Aogo...this makes 60-70% of their starting 11.

Yea Holland is close.

I won't be surprised if Spain and Holland face each other in the final like in last year's WC .
