I don't have much time for quite that much soccer, but these days, I make the most effort to watch:

England: Manchester City
MLS: Seattle Sounders FC
NWSL: Portland Thorns
NCAA: San Diego State (in person), Portland women (on the web), Akron men (on the web)
NTs: USWNT

Other teams I still like (I've followed various leagues to varying degrees since '95), but rarely have time for:

Netherlands: AZ Alkmaar
Germany: Bayer Leverkusen
Scotland: unattached to SPL, but was big Rangers fan, so I am watching them try to claw their way back up. Division Two next year, IIUC.
Mexico: Tijuana
Argentina: Boca Juniors
Brazil: Sao Paulo

NTs: USA, USA women, Sweden women, Netherlands men, Argentina men

I follow mostly teams where Finnish internationals play, not really many specific teams.

FINLAND: HJK Helsinki (my team)
THE NETHERLANDS: Ajax
SPAIN: Real Madrid
POLAND: KKS Lech Poznan

Well, not really any else.

There's a Finnish player on the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers, Toni Stall. The area where I live has the largest Finnish population in America, Lake Worth - Lantana. I play hockey with a bunch of Finns, my wifey is half Finn, good friends and people...

I haven't really found much interest in club teams, I generally only follow international. Even here in the USA, I can't seem to get into MLS. There are never any teams nearby to go to any games... I used to live in Michigan, no teams there. I now live in Maine, no teams here... hard to get excited about.

If I HAD to pick I'd say...

Norway - Aalesund
Netherlands - Feyenoord
Costa Rica/Latin America in general - Saprissa
England - Chelsea (not as much now that Drogba left)
USA - Columbus or Seattle I guess

There are a few teams that I really hate though... Juventus (Italy), River Plate (Argentina), and Salt Lake (USA) are probably the main ones. I'll root for anyone against those guys.

Cool. I went to an HJK home game last year... against FF Jaro I think. HJK won 4-1, it was fun to watch and a nice stadium too.

My only favorite team is Villarreal from Spain; I've been a dutiful fan for the submarino amarillo since late 2005
because of their serious endeavor to break the boring "Tom & Jerry" game in the Spanish League!
Actually I like Villarreal for many other reasons like their wonderful kits (the yellow sounds great & shiny), nice
stadium, beautiful city and finally presence of many Argentinean stars like Riquelme and Sorin; I was a big
fan of Argentine at the time.
