But Rooney's price tag can only be paid by about 10 clubs worldwide. And given how poorly he has played for England, I wouldn't take a chance on him. I'd take Cavani or Falcao even at twice the price.

You can't just "take" someone. Just because you have they money someone else can have the money plus be a better option. Russian teams have money doesn't mean they'll get Falcao.

Yet Senor Falcao has all but signed with AS Monaco who have a new filthy rich owner. On one hand you think: greedy bugger going to the highest bidder; on the other hand it is refreshing for a star not go to the big 10 or so, and it takes more courage to play for a lesser club. So I applaud Falcao's decision.

In the French league though, whats the taxes vs PSG which would be the obvious choice for most people going to France for the $$.

Monaco is a tax haven, there is no income tax on individuals. Carlos Tevez and Patrice Evra are two others rumored to be going to Monaco this summer.

Monaco are the next Chelsea, Man Ciy, PSG. Plenty of financial prowess and a tax haven they are gonna be attracting some quality players this summer.
