Really? About how advertising is so different among different sports? I missed that one.
If you're talking about the threads on why Americans will never be on board with soccer, than you're right, that has been discussed.

I was actually making a subtle reference to overweight Americans and how they get more food during every commercial during, say, a football game. Soccer does not allow them to do that.

I actually KNOW why soccer will never be as popular in the U.S... most Americans are just not that smart.

Awww, pobrecito.

I like soccer. I coach my kids' soccer teams. I also find it slower to watch than American football.
And I thought this was a joke of a thread.

So it's not really a thread about soccer, right? Just a dig on fat Americans?

Football will never get big in America because it gets laughed at by fans of the other sports. Its these idiots who have never watched a football game in their life but will still slate it just for the sake of it.

Fixed it for ya.

And it's stretching it to say that it will never get big. As far as the pro level goes, soccer may be around hockey's level. Hey, that's still a thousand times better than Arena Football and the WNBA. Could be worse...
