Suarez is an out and out attacker Bale has defensive duties.

Don't get me wrong, I am not having a jab or anything at Bale. I am just sharing a stat that I thought interesting. They compared it to Bale because Bale is on everybody's lips at the moment and I think because he is number two on the list but I am not sure.

Saurez' dribbles are short, Bale's take the whole length of the pitch sometimes. So it's tough to compare but I don't know if any player in the world dribbles better in the box (tight spaces) than Saurez. I'd still take the Welshman though.

That said, I wouldn't put much value in dribble stats. A player could get credited for one that ultimately broke down the attack... a pass instead of the dribble might have been the better decision. Too often dribbling is sporting masturbation.

It amazes me how you seem to always troll about looking for a fight.

Yep that is fine mate. I agree with you but I think the point I was making was missed and that was about the stat. I think it is an incredible stat. The time and effort that must be put in to watching every player and how many dribbles they make.

Whatever Pete.

I said a stat which had Suarez in it. Get over it. You love looking for a fight Pete. That's a fact.

Another stat/fact regarding Chelsea. I just heard on Football Focus that the last two managers got sacked after playing West Brom. Chelsea play West Brom today.
