Did you miss the Portland/Seattle bandwagon?

Seattle is closer to both Vancouver & Portland than Miami is to Orlando and there is a lot of history in the sport between the 3 cities in the PWN

I am a Seattle fan! That's the team I look out for.

But more rivalries can only be a good thing no?

Definitely - the more the merrier .... good to tap into the emotions

Just really wasn't sure how to read the initial post - as there could be some heat coming down the line or that there is finally going to be a proper rivalry in MLS (which would insinuate that one doesn't currently exist)

Well have to see how both teams go. Miami fans are fickle, just look at the NBA finals.
I do hope they keep up with the traditions of clubs in their stadium though because ill definitely be down to go.

well so far everyone I've spoken with says they will be avid supporters of the team. many of them willing to go 2 An MLS game over a heat game if they played on the same night. But here is the catch, the team must be Miami's team not S.FL team. Meaning the stadium is in the Miami city proper, the team's playing style needs to b the technical, short passing, possession based futbol that the Spanish speaking world is known for and yes the team name ,stadium name,PA announcements, and chants need to be in Spanish or at least Bilingual. So all u american monolinguals in the S FL metro can go support the team you already have the Ft. lauderdale strikers.

What happens if theyre losing at half time ? Do I need to reference the NBA finals again =)

I have several friends in Miami and they are looking forward to it, if the satdium is in Miami like you said. No idea where you are getting this singing in Spanish from, I highly doubt that.

Is the usa the only passport they have? Then that's y. I have 3 passports Colombia, and Venezuelan. People who only claim allegance to the usa might have a problem with spanish but those of us who come from latin america and still pledge aligance to our homelands want the team 2 b in spanish.

They are mainly Honduran born.

Claiming allegiance to whoever you want is fine, I still doubt singing in Spanish only is a wishlist of anyone.
