Neymar was an idiotic signing for them. First off I think he is highly overhyped. But even if I were to for the sake of argument concede and figure him to be an outstanding player ... this is a Barcelona squad that just scored 115 f-ing league goals. How many more do they want?? Even if you take out Messi's 46 league goals, that still is 69 goals scored and only two other teams scored more than that.

The problem with Barca - as so expertly exploited by Bayern - is that they are both weak and thin in defense, they lack height/physicality and they subsequently suck at set plays. This almost 60m euros that they spent on a skinny, lightweight (and in my opinion overated) attacker takes away money they could have devoted to their actual need areas and instead (potentially) adds strength to an area they are allready incredibly strong in. How many more goals than 115 do you think they will score next year? Hell, chances are they might not even score that many. Even if they do - 130 goals? Is 60m euros worth 15 extra league goals? It is an idiotic signing.

There is a point in your thoughts. But, I am sure that Barcelona decided to spend those milions for a player that could be a decent helper for messi. Barcelona got many problems. 1 - weak defense - short roster 2. lack of physical players 3 - Messi dependability. They want to make this machine working even when unfortunetly messi is not fit. Neymar could be such a helper. 60mln euro for a guy that has never played in europe before it's a disgrace, 60 mln euro for a guy who had only 1 year of contract to fullfil it, that's another ****.

Barcelona certainly needs a strong, fast and quite tall defender, because as Abidal is gonna be sold, we got here only Pique, Busquets who are not tiny guys. Hummels looks like the only one because i do not believe that Barcelona could take Kompany - he is in City. No possible.

Barca need to sort out their defense. Some good players they could get are the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Kyriakos Papadopoulos(to bad he's going to Liverpool), Cheillini and Silva would be great signings for them. Cant see Silva going though. Vertongehn would of been a good signing for them.

Cheilini - no way, this woodman from Italy is not welcome in BCN

Silva - the amount is probobly to huge to cover for Barcelona. Paris is wealthy club so that's like situation with Kompany.

Hummels, Vertongen, Agger are options

Cheillini is animal. Class defender. Very good player. Verongehn is very good but cant see him leaving Spurs. Agger will not be joining Barcelona.

Cheilini is maybe classy defender but i don't think that being suge huge gay would allow him to be fast. Does he got any technique? Can he pass the ball, play with both feets? Anyway i don't see any italian player in Barcelona. Chelini for me is a wooden guy.

I've watched Neymar at least ten times, and he's good but I think there's better options for cheaper.

He's just a good, not great, player with a bad haircut IMO.
