That's fine but how many underdogs can you have? People have said Ghana, Columbia, Chile, Ivory Coast etc... Cant all make it to the semis. Just think the big boys will turn up and show the world why they are the big boys as they do time and time again.

This Brazil may not be spectacular, but it is incredibly effective and efficient. Almost looks like a 90s Germany hehe. I think they will win it.

I say either germany or spain will fail to make the semis with either colombia or chile replaceing them.

I'm more interested in seeing the Brazilian people hold their corrupt government's feet to the fire. The whole world is setting an example I hope we can follow soon.

Argentina will win it, im willing to bet on it. As now, they are the first nation in purchased tickets (of course), due to proximity and fandom Argentina will be almost like at home with millons of argentinians rooting for the NT there. Plus, we have the best attack in the world and the defense is looking wonderful lately (see last game against Italy, and actually all games in the last year and a half), plus Messi, plus hunger of glory. Never before i thought we could make it, but now i know we will.

Ideal final: Argentina vs Brasil, Messi scoring the winning goal.

Other ideal finals: Argentina vs Germany, Argentina vs Spain, Argentina vs Uruguay.

Let's see what the draws are, but I'm going with (for now anyways) Brazil over Germany in the finals.

My surprise picks would be Colombia and Belgium. Home continent advantage for Colombia and Belgium which have a good, young team. I wouldn't be that surprised to see either of them make a run to the quarterfinals. It all depends on the draws though.

USA will be the dark horse of the tournament. I don't see a European team winning it in Brazil.

yeah europe has no shot but the us does. the usa should just be happy with the round of 16 and leave the later rounds to the big boys(Germany,Argentina,Brazil,Spain,Colombia,Chile ,Uruguay,Holland, etc)
