I'm 21 in (average shape) considering joining one next year but i'm wondering what the skill level of ppl who play that are? Do they tend to be very good? average? out of shape? a mixture of different capabilities?

well what part of the country do you live in? Here in S.FL they general take the games very seriously as it's mostly hispanics that were born in another country that are playing who know the rules of the game and are passionate about it. As for the skill level I would say it's pretty high although that's something unique to S.FL as every time one of the S.FL churches plays against a church from another part of the country it's always a blow out(the games are typically stopped by the mercy rule of 10-0). The reason I use churches as the example is because that's where I typically play in the church leagues. I don't know if a non church league would be any different but it shouldn't except when it comes to having to pay.
