I don't see Argentina getting past Germany but lord have mercy if they do Brazil will completely implode. I don't think there could be any worse insult to injury than that for them.

Unfortunately that was the case of this game. Today the Netherlands is feeling the pain, soccer teaches us that what if it is a 7x1 or penalty kicks loss, it does not matter in the end, the outcome is the same. South America will be in the final at last, although clearly not favorites to win.

Vamos Argentina!!!!!!

Great fight from the Netherlands. They did have chances. But they were off side just too many times.

Argentina had chances too, and they will need to do better against Germany. They got sloppy there at the end. If they do get di Maria back (I don't know about his status) then that will help.

Now Brazil must root for the Germans. The lesser of two evils.

I mean a team won that made NO EFFORT to score goals in regulation.
