I would agree if they guy was a crap player but I see it the way an South American would probably view it; as a terrible moment in an otherwise supremely talented player. He took down England, man! I think a total ban is too much. Fine him and he misses two games. I mean I don't even think Uruguay would even last that long.
What does his talent have to do with anything? He bit a fellow player, seemingly out of nowhere, and it is the third time he's done this. He's a disgrace to the sport and you are utterly clueless about football if you think a fine and a two-match ban is sufficient punishment. He got a 10-match ban last time and I'm counting on a much heavier punishment now. FIFA could impose a two-year ban for this. We'll see what happens but I'd be shocked if we saw him in this WC again.

Whatever the outcome, I'm sure it won't take away from his talent and what he did during the England match. To Uruguayans and even to South Americans the guy is a hero. This disgrace to the sport talk has gotten past the point of self righteous. Whatever FIFA decide will be just. If its a WC ban, fine. That still doesn't mean that people have to act like he guy is a total disgrace. To me a disgrace is Pepe who is downright mental with the fights and borderline psychotic crap he pulls on the pitch.
This is digressing from the main point though. He does deserve a ban, we disagree but this over moralizing to the point where the sanctity of football will be shamed if FIFA doesn't act swiftly is silly.
I was surprised that's all they came with. Did they not know they were going to be eliminated with a draw?
I saw a team with no intentions of going for broke, go all out, do or die...except the last 5 or 10 minutes...but above all.....Pardon Ladies....No Cojones!!!..
He's not better than Pele in his prime. Cristiano Ronaldo is more like the "Lebron James/Kobe Bryant" of soccer, while Pele is the "Micheal Jordan" of soccer. Big difference!
