I don't see the issue here, dudes don't want a guy who likes men starting at their junk so they cover up as it makes them uncomfortable. I realise because a guy is gay doesnt mean he wants every piece of meat he see's but it would make things awkward.

THe comment about him being dropped because he was gay as he thought he was playing well, I doubt it. I bet he was playing crap.

Amazing that sports facilities are still too cheap to put doors on shower stalls.

Oh my goodness. Another man might see my pee-pee. And he might be a homo.

I'm so glad my child is growing up without the prejudice our parents had forced on them, but couldn't quite throw off when they brought us up. A gay couple are on TV and we talk about it openly, like no big deal. Another generation or two from now and we might be mature and confident enough as a society not to feel confused or threatened.

Then why don't women and men share a locker room?

What's the problem?
I bet those guys have taken 1000 showers with men that are still in the closet

Seems to me that most straight men, if permitted to shower with women, probably couldn't keep their eyes off their team mates. They may hide it while doing so, but sooner or later someone will notice the new towel rack that has suddenly sprung up and will be offended by it - while some will like it. Either way, the result will be much gnashing of the teeth, accusation, threat, a face slap or nose punch, arrest, lawsuit, fire, hail, and brimstone.

To claim that it is no big deal when same sex and mixed orientation are involved seems to me, a lie.

Even my gym has shower stalls. I personally am not a fan of walking around publicly nude , although some guys seem to relish in it at the gym...shaving nude, brushing teeth nude, etc. Not a fan.

Indeed. Some players are closeted, so what's the difference between that and having an openly gay man in the showers? Some straight men are just homophobic, and they want to justify their homophobia. Homophobia is a form of discrimination, no matter what spin they try to put on it.

It;s funny that they assume a gay men will stare at their junk. They are flattering themselves. To all straight men: gay guys don't find all of you attractive.
