If soccer bores you, that's fine.

But why are you posting on a forum dedicated to it if that's the case? Are you posting from under your bridge, perhaps?

Sadly, I read the article. Why do people write about things they know nothing about?

So now we know the real reason for immigration control. It has nothing to do with drugs, since the US supports cartels. It has nothing to do with jobs, since the US supports companies offshoring whatever they can.

It's really about keeping more soccer fans out.

Pretty "Ugly American" of her - and an embarrassment to the nation.

Sitting through 20+ Major League Baseball (America's National Past time) games every season, I can say soccer's 90 minutes go by pretty quickly for me -

One of the things I deeply appreciate about the World Cup is to see humanity come together for a month-long event which excludes religions and politics.

As one who did not grow up watching Futból (soccer), I am now in love with the game, especially when it comes to World Cup.

Those who choose not to participate in this quadrennial event remind me of the neighborhood curmudgeon who stays home during a block party. And maybe, that's a good thing.

Bottom line: she doesn't like soccer because it's not 'murican. If the US can't be #1, it's no fun.
