As a Tottenham fan, I wish we could forfeit our Europa League spot for next year to a club like Crystal Palace, Stoke, or Leicester City who would actually like to play in it. The first couple of years it was OK, but since Tottenham has been in it for like 4 or 5 straight years and keep getting put in crappy groups like in 2014 when the 3 other group teams were Tiraspol (in Moldova I believe), FC Tromso (In Tromso, Norway I believe the farthest north a European (whole world??) soccer team is located) and then to Anzhi in Russia a team that didn't even have a home stadium that year! So you go to those 3 hard to reach places for a Thursday night games and then come back to England a do a quick turn around for an EPL game on Sunday. Another thing is that unless you get put into a group with a team from Portugal (let's say Porto), Germany (let's say Dortmund), Italy (Fiorentina), France (Marseille), and then the lesser leagues with 1 or 2 quality teams at the top: i.e Swiss super league (Zurich, Basel), Czech League (Partizan) or Austrian league (Vienna or Salzburg) you're not going to get a quality opponent until you get out of the group stage. Yes Sherriff Tiraspol might be dominating their league but a team in the Championship division would probably dominate it as well, tough to compare the Maltan league with the EPL. Unless our entire group consists of teams from this group: Scotland (Celtic), Portugal (Braga), France (Marseille/St. Etienne), Germany (Schalke/Augsburg/Dortmund), Belgium (Anderlecht/St. Liege), Czech Republic (Jablonec/Liberec), Denmark (FC Copenhagen), Ireland (Shamrock Rovers), Italy (Fiorentina/Napoli), Holland (AZ Alkmaar), Poland (Lech Poznan), or Spain (Sevilla/Villarreal/Ath Bilbao), anyone else in a group would be a total waste. All of those are normally good competitive teams in their respective leagues, and all 3 would be relatively easy to get to in a mid week. Obviously, not as easy as getting to the Emirates or Stamford Bridge, but at least it it's not northern Norway either.
I know a couple of Spurs fans who feel the same way- it's not a loved tournament among clubs that aspire to the Champions League.
Liverpool are also there where no doubt Balotelli can show his skills and determination to a wider audience , but I think that Southampton will look forward to it as it's the first time in a long time that they have been in Europe.
West Ham enter via some fair play twaddle and I don't know how they feel about it.
For some lesser teams it can make it harder for them to actually stay in the Premier League which is their major goal.
So Spurs- get into the top four or flop and play dirty!

From what I can tell, the only good-to-decent club that actually LIKES playing in the Europa league is Sevilla....2 straight Europa league titles! I wonder what would happen if they finished 2nd in La Liga 1 year??

Also, had Aston Villa beaten Arsenal in the FA Cup final wouldn't they have gotten in as well?? Isn't that how Fulham was able to make the Europa league the year they got relegated from the EPL was because they won the FA Cup that same year??
hi friends, can someone pls tell me if i can watch the EPL( english-premier-league) on Roku, or possibly what is my best way to see watch without paying much
