It was by far the best performance by the US Womans team in the World Cup. It is to bad we could not have seen an England US finals I think that might have been more competitive. Japan was lucky to get to the final they got throughly outplayed by England and got by on a lucky own goal.

I love that they dethroned 2011's Champs! I only wish it had ended in a shutout. God our women looked so invincible!!!!
Well I mean compared to the women's team they just don't seem quite that good.lol
That's not a shock. Men's soccer is far more competitive than women's soccer is. Add in the fact that the best male athletes in this country play other sports - football, basketball, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, etc. - and it's not a surprise our men's team is not as good as the ladies.
The mens team would demolish the womens side. Mens football is way more competitive.
