Since our country wants to be more European sounding with our soccer teams. Since we have FCs, but yet we call it soccer over here. I would suggest what England does for the FA cup. The premier league teams are in the tournament from the beginning. It isn’t like over here, where the MLS gets a bye until the third or fourth round.

The MLS needs to be in the tournament from the beginning. How much interest and fun would it be. It would also be able to showcase talent in the United States. It would be cool to see an amateur, npsl, or pdl team knock off an MLS team.

I think it was either last year or the year before I watched Sutton united knock off leeds United in the fa cup.

There isn't enough interest in USOC to make it financially viable.

USOC? What does the United States Olympic Committee have to do with soccer? The USSF (United States Soccer Federation) is the governing body for soccer in the Inited States. What do you financially viable? So the possibility of a MLS team getting knocked out by an amateur squad. You don’t think that will raise interest in the sport? (Rolling my eyes loudly)

1) Not everyone calls it soccer
2) Premier League clubs are not in the FA cup from the beginning. There are qualifying rounds and the Premier League doesnt come in till the 3rd round proper I think it is.

Ive got 0 interest in another cup competition. If MLS was a league and not a big cup competition id be open for it though.
