He is still around as first team coach (under Clotet) for Birmingham City - isn’t he? The thread title made me think he might have died or was fired.

Loved him at Stoke. Only mistake he made was taking exception to Tony Pulis cancelling the Christmas party.

Yes He is Kevin Beattie who played for ipswich in 70-80s but not James' dad

Yes He is currently in birmingham and nothing happen to him Haha, just miss the his peak moment about 15-20 years ago when he played for Southampton& everton
