American Culture always wants to be the best at everything, and because they can’t be the best at soccer, that’s probably a good reason to dislike the sport. At the end of the day, no one likes to see themselves loosing.

No, that's a bad reason to dislike the sport. We're not the best at ice hockey either, but the sport still has plenty of fans here.

Ice hockey and baseball are 2 other sports that the US isn't "the best" in, yet plenty of folks still pay attention to those sports.

The average attendance at an MLS game currently sits at over 21,500 people. It's still extremely popular. It's just not aired on TV like basketball and football (and even baseball) likely due to lower profitability, considering there is no stoppage, and profit-incurring ads can't be run every 5-10 minutes.
Also, because of the MLS's format, we do not have the highest talent pool of players in the world, unlike NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB.
I'd say the numbers are still pretty solid, considering everything.

Attendance wise MLS is really good IMHO. For a sport a majority of NFL type fans like to rag on anyway.

As for TV, theyre on local channels and all matches are on ESPN+ but the quality is so hard I dont watch anybody but my team. Thats not the case for most other leagues I watch.

Right. I watch Orlando City on TV when I can't get to the games, but I agree: The quality of the streams is pretty terrible.

The live games though are nothing short of phenomenal in terms of atmosphere. They accomplish an ambiance that far exceeds anything the Orlando Magic and TB Lightning can do.

They used to show MLS on ESPN quite a bit, but this year 2019 not so much. I wonder what happened. There is nothing else to show during the summer months besides baseball, and MLS. Why ESPN stop?

They show it, but on their secondary channels. You can still catch pretty much all MLS games on ESPN, but at an added premium.

MLS, like UFC and other sports are behind the ESPN paywall. So if you pony up $5pm you will see every MLS game live. If you dont youll only be able to catch the occasional game.
