The bottom line is that no one wants to pay to see women play soccer. It's not entertaining. It's the same reason the WNBA isn't as popular as the NBA. Women are slow, weak and no one wants to pay to see them play physical types of sports. Hell, let's start a WNFL while we're at it.

No its not. You seem to think the men are paid based on supply and demand, they are not. None of this is a free market. Its an artificial market. You think Pogba should have gotten the same share from the 2018 wold cup winnings that Alphonse Areola, the third string keeper, received. Of course not. If this were a free market, Pogba would get a massive share and Areola a little nothing share. But its not free market. Its 100% socialism. All of the players on the team share equally regardless of skill level and their draw. Now its okay to you when you do this with men and the mens revenue. That fine, its just a bull**** position to say its okay to do it that way, but not okay to do as I suggested. Just take all revenue from 2019, add it together and dived accordingly. Of course in the US, the women's side made most of the revenue in this year. In others it would be the mens team. And don't be daft, you know as well as I do the international play is not about money for the top players but it very much is for the bottom players. Pogba donated his entire salary, as many others did, from the world cup. But not everyone makes 30M Euro a year. Some make more from the World Cup than they do in their club play. Not every country has any chance of making the cup, let alone winning a decent prize. The US depends on soccer development to stand a chance at the mens team competing. If it takes a divided approach, it hurts itself. The best thing the US can do is all unite to promote the sport and make as much money as they can for all the players, so the product improves on the international level at all sides, so they can all win, make money and develope love for the sport.

It's a free market at the team level, rather than the individual player. Whether that is the best approach, I don't know. Regardless, they are separate competitions that draw their primary income via separate channels, then distribute it among the competitors. Your reasoning seems more appropriate at the college level, where players are considered amateurs.

Wow...could you be more wrong??

You should at least try to research your opinions a little more before spewing them...

The USWNT generated nearly $51 million in revenue (mostly from ticket sales) from 2016-18. In the same time frame, the USMNT generated just under $50 million.

You can not educate someone who is so fixed in fantasy. Women's soccer generated millions of dollars. No it does not generate the same revenue as men's soccer, but its is a huge profit center. On the national team level, the US women compete with the men's team for revenue quite well. Its at the professional level where there is no comparison, but each year, the women's league generates more and more revenue.

Not really, NWSL had an average attendance of about 7k for 2019. So no, nobody really wants to see it.

For national teams they do get a decent attendance, but if it cost the same as the mens they'd not get as big. People go to the international games for the spectacle, when you know your team is going to win youre going to see people show up. The womens team has very little competition. Its similar to people going to see sports in the Olympics, its the spectacle. Most of the sports have a dire attendance after that.

Mens world cup generates 6 billion, womens 1 hundred odd million. The interest isnt there because the competition isnt there.

This isn't about the World Cup or professional leagues

Fact: The US Women's Team generates more income than the US Men's Team

Do you dispute this??

Fact: The US Women's Team is more successful than the US Men's Team

Do you dispute this??

Fact: Players for the US Men's team are paid significantly more than players on the US Women's team

Considering the first 2 facts are undeniably true what is the rationale for the 3rd fact?

Fact: US Boys beat US womens world cup holders. The game isnt good. People pay to see a spectable. If they played boys teams every time and got destroyed nobody would see them..

Also fact: the womens team do get a higher percentage of men ... but yet would concede 10 goals easy against the men.

The game is fantastic. I am not sure what a spectable is, but I know that people watch men's soccer at the MLS level when these teams get routinely embarrassed when they play top level European clubs. Yet when the MLS teams play each other, they sell tickets. Amazing. Women do not play men professionally, so I honestly don't understand what the heck you are talking about. WoSo is so much fun to watch. I sat in a sold out Red Bull Arena and watched an amazing game last month. It is fine for you that you are so insecure in your manhood that you cannot watch two teams of incredible women play the amazing game. But it does not matter what you think, because the facts speak for themselves. Thousands of people in this country watch women's soccer. Sorry it bothers you and that you cannot get over your own sexism.
