Yeah, and you're called on to do it only about 4 times a game. If you're successful in doing so about 40% of the time, they call you great. So even if that's the hardest feat in sports, everyone sucks at it so who cares?

no, i mean hitting it. not getting a hit. just making contact with the ball. 1 particular player hits about 4 times a game, whats your point. how many shots on goal does 1 particular player have in soccer...my point exactly.

Players take part in offense all game. Can a batter contribute if it's not his turn? No.

He does if he is on base.

So does he pass to the batter and the batter hits a home run? No, the pitcher does. Does the runner catch a hit from the batter and then circle the bases? No, because he'd be out if the ball touched him.

Wow, sounds like a great team sport. A bunch of guys working parallel to each other with barely any interaction.

i don't believe the term "team sport" means anything. it's interesting to seea player get involved in soccer. maybe they pass the ball backwards once every 20 min. if you like soccer that's fine. don't knock baseball because you obviously don't have a clue. i assume you throw like a panzy anyway.

I played baseball for ten years and watched it even longer. One day I woke up and realized that MLB is **** and the game is inherently slow. I was born again.

i think baseball is the most boring sport and all those players are over paid for what they do.. socker takes more skill and the players don't make a fraction of what baseball players make for standing around scratching thier heads

I think Michael Jordan taught us that it takes a LOT more to be a major league baseball player than mere athletic ability.

I'd rather watch soccer than NASCAR. How many times can the average person watch a car go around in a circle without falling asleep? I think MOST people must tune in just to see a crash. lol
