Soccer is not "uncool." Soccer is true international competition in its purest form. No other sport seems to posses the ebb and flow that occur in most well matched competitions.
Although I do enjoy the kiddies playing soccer, it's cool internationally, not in America

Exactly, which is why the majority of Americans do not watch nor do they like it.
i was attending yankees games, knicks games, giant games, lakers games, galaxy games ..... and the atmosphere was just horrible all the time.. maybe except a usc football game, but even there the atmosphere is pretty lame compared to european soccer games.

Your first problem is attending Professional sports games in the US. Most of the chants in Pro Sports are manufactured by pa systems and such and creates a lame atmosphere. Try these out. These are the college atmospheres which are FAR superior to the Pro game.
It just depends on the sports people grw to like in different coutnries. Soccer bascially has a tugh timew sompeting with many other in thsi country including football that is more like the national pastime here now.I personally don't know why but I find t boring to wtch but might be like some fun to play.Why isn't volley ball nbigger;I thnik for much the same reasons of choice really.You really cqn't shove a sport down peoles throws and say you have to like this;doesn't work that way.

And if you talk to Americans who have attended soccer games in Europe, they will tell you it's thuggish and trashy. It's not uncommon for fans to be killed or brutally maimed at soccer games in Europe whereas it's almost unheard of here.
In the U.S. there are standards. U.S. fans will not hold Nazi flags, openly yell ethnic slurs and throw bananas and stuffed animal monkeys on the field at non-White players. If that's a sign of a good fans, no thanks, keep that in Europe. In the U.S. if fans openly held a Nazi flag, the game would be suspended and the police would escort those fans out of the stadium. It's sad and pathetic that Europeans don't address the rampant racism in soccer. And what is sad is this occurred against the best players in soccer like Thierry Henry. Can you imagine if a groups of people were yelling Nig$# at LeBron James? That is just so unthinkable in this country but in Europe, it's not uncommon especially in Spain and Eastern Europe

yea living in a hole. and deciding games on penalty kicks is arguably one of the stupidest things in all of sports.
next up, lets give each football team in the superbowl 5 field goals from 20 yards out. whoever gets the most wins.
