I currently am looking into a career as an anesthesiologist assistant. I live in pa and was wondering if there are any upcoming programs in the area. Does anyone know how many total years of school are needed to become one? And is the number of states that AAs are allowed to work in expected to rise?
Go the CRNA route, it's the better career move in that field.
MUSC in Charleston has a good program. Columbia has a small program too that is co-opted with Greenville. GA's medical university in Augusta also has a CRNA program.
