Taking this thread discussion from the NC board...ex: born and raised in Florence, went to college in Spartanburg but have rarely been to areas such as Aiken or South of Charleston.

Same as Mutiny, just don't ever get to that upper Pee Dee area. I went to Cheraw once a long, long time ago.

I've been to every county and probably every city/town of significant size in the state. But if there were one area where I spent the least amount of time and know the least about is the border counties of Abbeville, McCormick and Edgefield. I've been through there a few times and made a few sales calls up there, but that is the least explored area of the state for me. Everywhere else is fairly familiar.

Same...those and they boarder counties south of Aiken make up the 8 although I really want to go to all of them because I want to boat down the Savannah...can you do that from Hartwell?

No obstructions from Augusta to Savannah. But its impossible to continue at the dam on Clarks Hill (Lake Thurmond) above Augusta.
