Lol, they are gearing up to do battle with the competition. They are shoring up their position, and sending a message to the new kids in town. Competition is always good for the consumers, so their should be some sweet deals.

No actual evidence or proof on my end but I've heard from two former employees at Golden Corral (my mother-in-law and also a family friend) that they are going to be getting new management to come in and reopen this location. Not sure if it'll actually happen or not, but I guess we'll see.

Looks like Shane’s Rib Shack is moving forward. There is a sign by the road for a notification of a city council meeting to discuss the new construction and variances they need. I was seriously worried that Covid had killed this project. Glad to see it is still moving on!!!

Same here, I was thinking they pulled out of the deal as well. Perhaps with vaccines starting to get out, they probably decided to move forward.

That's great news. I'm glad that site didn't sit vacant for a long time, so lots of credit to the owners for finding tenants.

Man, Burlington is gonna be packed constantly. That's gonna be a busy parking lot between those two stores.

Packed parking lot is good. More jobs and Local shoppers staying home in Sumter rather than going to Columbia or Florence plus Manning and Lee Co shoppers will be here too
