Thankfully so far none of these guys are my representative. These legislators are supposed to be doing the will of the people they represent, that's the way the system is supposed to work.

The problem is sometimes you need to lead and do the opposite of what the people want. This is one of these times, if for economic reasons alone .

They are likely reflecting what their constituents want.. This would be an example as going down "on the record" even if you are on the wrong side of history when the final votes are tallied..The flag may come down but they will be immortalized or vilified for history depending on your perspective.

UPSTATE FOLKS....let it go. The Confederate flag needs to come down. 75% of the reps opposing it are in that Greenville/Sptbg/Anderson cluster.
