Hi - My family is planning to relocate from New England to either Union County NC or York County SC area. We are just starting our search and plan to move in summer 2016. We specifically do not want to live in a subdivision, and hope to find a home with at least 3/4 acres (preferably more), with a budget of up to $325,000. I can work from home, so I just would need wi-fi, and my husband is a letter carrier for the USPS so he should be able to get work fairly easily. We have a 6 yr old so a strong school district is a priority.
There is a possibility that my parents would move as well. Homes with in-law suites are fairly easy to find in my current area (Boston, MA) - what are my chances for finding that type of living situation in York or Union counties?
Thank you in advance for any advice. We hope to only move once and find our forever home.
