Charleston-potential move (to eat, housing, places)

first, what are some good places in Charleston to eat........DT & Mt Pleasant?

Second, housing, what are good options in the $750k range?

Third, this is a funny question........I have seen and read a lot of locals refer to Charleston as a city on par with Paris, Rome, London etc........any similarities?
