My husband and are looking to relocate to the Greenville, SC area. We have been reading a lot about it and it looks like a wonderful place to be. We love the mountains and love the proximity to them. We live in North Florida and are really ready for a change. We're hoping when we sell our house that we'll both be able to work part-time for a while. We would also probably rent until we decided exactly where in the area we wanted to live. Are people pretty friendly toward newcomers? We have read nothing but positive things and are very excited to come up there and look around. Also, we don't have children so schools would not be a consideration. Any insight any of you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
