I'm a single mother of three and I recently visited the Greenville/Traveler's Rest area, I liked it alot. I'm from Washington, DC and am looking forward to making a fast move out of this city in hopes of a better life for my children. I found a nice rental but now I have my doubts. What's the job ecomony like. I have experience in medical office and insurance billing. My biggest fear is getting down there and not being able to find a decent job. I know the pay is going to be much lower in the south but that's ok because I want my kids to have a much better chance at life than I.

I have no experience in the medical field but it seems to do pretty well around here especially with the Greenville hospital system now being a Medical University.
The medical field is a promising field in the Greenville area. I am relocating to Greenville from Boston this coming summer and have already secured a job in the medical field that will actually pay me much MORE than the same job would pay me here. Regardless of the prospects, I would highly recommend securing a job PRIOR to moving.
It's not that easy a thing to do unless you are a nurse, doctor, pharmacist,or corporate executive. Many places will not consider looking at your resume if you have an out of state address. You could see a headhunter.
