Looking to relocate from northeast PA (Charleston, Summerville: to rent, home, schools)

Single mom with 18 year old daughter looking to relocate.
I work from home so I don't need job options for myself.
We like to live somewhat near the beach, parks.
Would prefer an area not so busy.
Definitely somewhere 2 girls would feel comfortable.
Looking to rent for now with a budget under $1200.

Look into Nexton, Cane Bay, Carnes and other family-friendly areas. Decent schools.
If you don't have to deal with the rush hour traffic and commute to work, staying about 45 minutes from the downtown would be a good option.

That's going to be very difficult around $1200 near CB/Nexton, in Summerville. What part of coastal South Carolina are you considering?
