Part time job opportunities! (Greenville, Easley: Home Depot, to move, retiree)

We are hoping to move into the Easley area south of Greenville. What are the job opportunites for part time work? Are there any local businesses that employ seniors? I know here in NJ where we are coming from places like Home Depot, Lowes, Wal Mart etc make a concerted effort to hire retirees and those who may desire part time work. On a related topic, are their specific organizations that accept volunteer work.
