...dry and windy today...
.a dry air mass will remain in place through this evening. A
strong surface pressure gradient will develop over the area today and
allow for strong southerly winds to develop. Minimum relative
humidity values are expected to fall between 20 and 30 percent
during peak heating. The combination of low humidity... Strong
winds and extremely dry fuels will set the stage for critical fire
weather conditions.

I'm looking forward to what this, one of the coldest cities in the state, is known to have, snow on the ground from December to March. Not yet it doesn't look like.. system is missing us to the north, and even if it doesn't, going to warm up next week. I am crazy for wanting it, but I'll be tired of it by February.

This snow as it continues to fall has me annoyed. Tonight, the old pickup with some weight on did quite well. Highway 79 was bad. Ice under the snow. The old war horse didn't even need 4 wheel drive.
We have about 4 inches of snow on the ground in Hot Springs. It is the light fluffy stuff that is easy to shovel. We expect some more tonight and we need the moisture.

uh
It started in spades just south of Hermosa. We have 9 to 12" depends on who is measuring and where they are measuring. It is fluffy, drying than grandpa's scalp or a popcorn fart.
Nothing last night in Hot Springs. It's bright and sunny here.
