I was in Huron for the first time in years last week. As I drove by Forestburg it brought back memories of going to Ruskin Park to visit my great aunt and her husband at their cabin in Ruskin Park. Always had a wonderful time fishing in the Jim River, roller skating in the pavillion, going to movies in Woonsocket. Also remember that Saturday nights I was pretty much "locked-in" because the dances would get too wild...according to my aunt!

What has happened to the park? Is there anything there anymore? I didn't even see an entry to it from the highway?

Flood water has ruined the one remaining building. I was there, via boat, in Sept. If you are on facebook, there's a Ruskin Park page
