uh
Good luck finding decent housing in Murdo. I had some friends that lived there for about 6 months before moving away, the reason was decent housing.

Don't get the wrong idea, you are not a bother. It's just that we never hear back if our advice was worth a darn.

"I am PA who will be doing the same thing." Wife was a Traveler for years, and we never took an assignment without a guaranteed housing option....either a pre approved company housing option, or we secured our own ahead of time, or we took our RV. She looked several times at positions in remote Native American communities, but housing was always the deal breaker.... There is a lot to feel good about serving under-served Americans, but you need to be realistic about your expectations and what you are willing to accept.
If the facility really wants your services, convince them they need to provide an adequate housing option.....they can bring in several mobile homes or smaller , less expensive Park Model homes.
