I saw that!! Made me laugh. Glad you posted this.

I, for one, do like the Corn Palace. Just a throwback to my childhood that is still a part of the landscape. Sorry to hear about the blue corn........

It was certainly a-maize-ing exposure; and quite the exp-ear-ience for our town to be in the spotlight! We had 'bushels' of fun with it here in Mitchell. Just an ear-resistable draw, out here on the plains...

Truly, though, Mitchell really does love the Corn Palace. It's corny, certainly, but it's ours. There's also a live archeological dig site on the shores of Lake Mitchell, and the George McGovern Legacy Museum (and library)... but the Palace tends to steal the show.
